Zinc Pyrithione 0.2% &

Clobetasol Propionate 0.05%

Medication:

This compounded prescription contains Zinc Pyrithione and Clobetasol Propionate.

Use:

This medication is used in the treatment of psoriasis or other skin conditions as determined by the physician.

Possible Side Effects:

This medication may cause burning/stinging, irritation, numbness or cracking of skin or skin tenderness.

Precautions:

This medication is for external use only. This medication should be kept from the reach of children, and generally is not recommended for use in children under 12 years old. This medication should not be used with occlusive dressings. Treatment should be limited to 2 consecutive weeks, except in moderate to severe plaque-type when treatment may last up to 4 consecutive weeks-as directed by the physician.

Directions:

This medication is generally dispensed in two 60 ml bottles that include a spray attachment. SHAKE WELL and apply to affected area(s) 1 to 2 times daily, or as directed by physician. If no improvement is seen within 2 weeks, reassessment of diagnosis may be necessary.
