Dimethyl Sulfone 20%

Uvula Spray - For Snoring

DIMETHYL SULFONE 20% UVULA SPRAY &

DIMETHYL SULFONE 16% NASAL SOLUTION

Medication:

Dimethyl Sulfone in solution.

Use:

Dimethyl Sulfone is used to reduce, eliminate snoring as either a nasal drop or as a uvula spray.

Side Effects:

This product may cause some local irritation to area applied. If using nasal spray, it is best to "aim at earlobe" to reduce contact with nasal septum.

Precautions:

This product contains Benzalkonium Chloride for a preservative. Persons allergic to this should avoid using this product. This is not meant to replace a C-PAP machine, and should be used carefully in persons who truly have sleep apnea.

Directions:

Uvula spray: 6 sprays into throat (onto uvula) 15 minutes before bedtime, daily. Generally dispensed in bottles that are a 2 month supply.

Nasal solution: 1ml in each nostril 15 minutes before bedtime, daily.

Storage:

This medication should be stored out of reach of children, at controlled room temperature, protected from air and light.

The cost varies due to individualized drug therapy.
